Emily grew up in Helena, Montana. After graduating high school in 2012, she attended Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (K-8) in 2016. Upon receiving her degree, she earned her Montana State Educator License. While living in Bozeman, she spent a lot of her time in the schools’ substitute teaching, working as a teacher assistant and a paraprofessional, volunteering and mentoring. She believes that every student can succeed, and wants to help them reach their fullest potential while also helping them feel empowered.  

Emily enjoys anything outdoors from kayaking, hiking, fishing, to exploring new places. She also loves photography and baking.
