Sierra grew up in Medical Lake, Washington. After graduating from high school, she continued her education at Eastern Washington University, where she received her Bachelors degree in Counseling, Education, and Developmental Psychology. From there she continued on to Gonzaga University to pursue her Masters degree in School Counseling. After graduating from Gonzaga, she accepted an elementary school counseling position in Williston, North Dakota, where she worked for several years before moving home to the Spokane area and starting a family. Sierra then worked as a facilitator for the READY! For Kindergarten program in Sandpoint, Idaho, before accepting a position as the Communities In Schools Site Coordinator at Opportunity Elementary!
Sierra believes in the incredible resilience of students and in their ability to thrive and achieve great things! She is passionate about providing support to the students and families she works with, and works hard to have a positive impact on all those she comes in contact with. She loves music, traveling, outdoor adventures and spending time with friends and family.
